CRACKER COW
CRACKER COW
CRACKER COW is a history of Florida based on the cattle industry. Cracker cows are direct descendants of the cattle that were brought to the new world in 1521 by the Spanish explorer/conquistador, Ponce de Leon.
The story is partly told through the eyes of the cow, "Magnolia" as she is waiting to be auctioned off at a local cattle sale. Readers will be entertained and informed about matters bovine and will learn about the rugged history of the state of Florida.
